TL;DR
Confirm the destination ends in @veryfi.cc. @verify.com is not the Veryfi processing domain.
Allow the documented processing window and look for Veryfi confirmation mail, including spam or junk.
Reset document date and sort filters, especially created date, before deciding the receipt is missing.
In This Guide
1. Open the sent message and verify the destination
Compare the recipient in sent mail with the current address in Veryfi Profile settings. The correct processing domain ends in @veryfi.cc. A mistyped domain can look plausible while never reaching the account.
Confirm the receipt evidence was included as HTML, plain text, PDF, image attachment, or a documented POS link that opens the hosted receipt directly. Keep the sent message, source document, time, and recipient for the diagnostic trail.
2. Allow the email processing window
Veryfi documents an average email-processing delay of a few minutes and says rare cases can take up to about 15 minutes. Wait through that window before sending another copy.
Check for the Veryfi processing confirmation in the sending inbox, including spam and junk. A confirmation proves the document was processed even if the current Inbox view does not show it.
3. Reset the Veryfi document filters
A document can be present but outside the visible date range. Reset the date filter, expand the timeframe, and sort by created date so the newly processed item is visible.
Review team or profile context if the account contains several people or work areas. Search using merchant, amount, filename, or another known source value.
| Observed evidence | What it proves | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| No sent message | The source workflow did not deliver | Check the Expensent action or mailbox rule |
| Sent to wrong domain | The message did not use the account destination | Copy the current @veryfi.cc address and send one corrected test |
| Veryfi confirmation received | Processing occurred | Reset filters and search the correct account context |
| No confirmation after the window | Delivery or processing remains unresolved | Run one direct test and preserve evidence for support |
4. Compare direct and rule-based delivery
Send one supported receipt directly from the same connected mailbox to the copied address. If the direct send appears but the original rule does not, inspect the routing condition, action history, recipient, and forwarded content.
If neither path appears, do not broaden the rule. Preserve the test messages and ask Veryfi support to match the account, time, sender, and destination.
5. Confirm the recovered record before resending more
Open the recovered document, verify its source image and fields, and check that only one record exists. Remove overlapping routes that could send future duplicates.
Independent app reviews describe users rechecking whether receipts were captured, while Veryfi maintains a dedicated help article for invisible forwarded receipts. The reliable fix is to trace delivery, confirmation, and filters in order rather than repeatedly forwarding the same evidence.
6. Sources checked
These sources were used to verify product behavior, current terminology, and the boundaries between native workflows and Expensent.
8. Frequently asked questions
Why is my forwarded receipt not visible in Veryfi?
Common checks are the @veryfi.cc address, the processing window, the confirmation email, the document date range, created-date sorting, and the current account context.
Is @verify.com the Veryfi receipt address?
No. Veryfi explicitly says the processing address ends in @veryfi.cc. Copy it from Profile settings.
How long should I wait?
Veryfi says processing averages a few minutes and can rarely take about 15 minutes. Wait through that window before resending.
What does a confirmation email prove?
It proves Veryfi processed the document. If the record is still invisible, reset the date and sort filters and check the account context.
Should I resend the receipt repeatedly?
No. Run one controlled direct test after correcting the address or routing issue. Repeated sends can create duplicates.
