Route Receipt and Invoice Emails to Veryfi
A reviewed inbox handoff to the personal @veryfi.cc destination
Veryfi subscription accounts receive a personal address ending in @veryfi.cc. Expensent can find, review, and route selected receipt, bill, or invoice emails to that destination. Veryfi then extracts the document and adds the record to its Inbox for review.
This is an email-routing workflow, not a native Veryfi API integration. Veryfi retains extraction, categorization, reconciliation, reporting, and export control.
The Inbox-to-Veryfi Gap
Veryfi provides the processing destination, but users still need a reliable way to choose and trace source messages:
- •Digital receipts arrive across purchase, travel, subscription, and shared mailboxes
- •The personal address is easy to mistype because @veryfi.cc differs from similar-looking domains
- •Generic portal notices may lack evidence, although Veryfi documents direct POS links that open a hosted receipt
- •A processed document can be hidden by date filters or another account context
Route Selected Documents to Veryfi
Connect the source inbox, review likely receipt emails, and route selected messages to the verified @veryfi.cc address.
- Evidence-aware review: Test direct hosted-receipt links and keep generic portal notices visible for a person
- Verified delivery: Copy the personal destination from Veryfi Profile settings
- Historical catch-up: Find older receipts and bills that still need extraction
- Narrow repeat rules: Automate only a proven sender and subject pattern
What Veryfi Does After Delivery
Veryfi processes supported email bodies and attachments, creates a transaction record, and places it in the Inbox for verification.
- •The processing address is available in web Profile settings and the mobile app dashboard
- •Veryfi documents HTML, plain text, PDF, and image attachment inputs
- •Multiple attachments become one document by default; #bulkupload separates them, with a 25 MB combined limit
- •Email processing normally takes several minutes and can occasionally take longer
- •Veryfi sends a processing confirmation that helps distinguish capture from a display-filter issue
- •Subject-line hashtags can assign tags or categories when the pattern is stable
- •The extracted record still needs review before reconciliation, reporting, or export
Verify the domain: Copy the address ending in @veryfi.cc. Veryfi explicitly warns that @verify.com is not the receipt-processing domain.
