Expensent uses a three-stage privacy pipeline. First, only email metadata (sender, subject, attachment names) is checked to filter out non-invoices — most emails never go further. Only emails that look like invoices have their body read for confirmation. Attachments are only accessed for confirmed invoices. No email content is stored on our servers. You control which invoices get forwarded and where they go.
